I am a filmmaker from Boston, Massachusetts, currently attending the University of Pittsburgh. I will graduate in May with a double major in Film and Media Studies and Political Science. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by the moving image. Movies shaped my childhood, and as I grew older, I became deeply interest in their construction, particularly how the visual nature differentiates it from other art forms. This led me to start making films in high school, and by now, I have directed several short films and worked on the crew of many others. I have extensive experience with cameras—particularly Sony models—and have worked as both a cinematographer and camera operator on multiple films. I have experience editing in both Adobe software and DaVinci Resolve. My primary specialty is color grading; I’ve graded a featured-length film along with a dozen short films. I’ve gained additional broadcasting experience through my work on the student‑run news program “Pitt to the Point” during its 2024 and 2026 seasons. Whether I’m leading the project as director; contributing as a member of the crew doing camera or lighting work; or employing post – production skills like color grading or editing picture and/or sound; I always strive to find ways to communicate a film’s ideas, themes, and tone through the technology of film.
